When you use account features, profile features, password updates, or saved result history, information is sent to the MindCheck API at api.mindcheck.online. When you use the site without signing in, some guide progress or pending self-check results may remain only in your browser storage unless you choose to sign in or save results through account features.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Some information, such as guide session data, pending results, authentication tokens, and locally saved self-check history, may be stored in your browser using localStorage or sessionStorage. If you create an account, sign in, update your profile or password, or save screening results to your account, relevant account and result information is transmitted to and processed by the MindCheck API.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information associated with the website. These safeguards may include HTTPS encryption, limited access to operational systems, and security monitoring.

No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. You should keep your device, browser, and passwords secure, avoid using shared devices for private information when possible, and clear local browser data if you no longer want locally stored MindCheck information on a device.

Browser-stored authentication tokens may keep you signed in on the same device. Logging out, clearing browser storage, or using browser privacy controls can remove locally stored account session data from that device.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your screening data with healthcare providers, insurance companies, or any other organizations. Your data remains under your control.

Current service providers and third-party services may include Cloudflare for website hosting, routing, security headers, and static asset delivery; the MindCheck API at api.mindcheck.online for account and result features; Google Analytics for website measurement; Google AdSense and Google's Privacy & messaging tools for advertising and consent management; Google Tag infrastructure for analytics delivery; and partner links, including Cognifit links used for certain cognitive assessment calls to action.

Account profile information and saved screening results may remain in MindCheck API systems while your account is active or as needed to provide account features, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, or keep reasonable operational records. Contact messages and support emails may be retained for as long as needed to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Analytics, advertising, and affiliate partners may retain technical data according to their own retention settings and privacy policies.

MindCheck may be accessed from different countries. Website hosting, analytics, advertising, and partner services may process information in the United States or other countries where their systems operate.
