They are more easily irritated than before.
Small changes, interruptions, or corrections trigger more frustration, anger, or defensiveness than they used to.
They become anxious outside familiar settings.
New places, busy environments, or leaving home create fear, hesitation, or refusal.
They suspect others took missing items.
When items are missing, they quickly suspect family, neighbors, or caregivers instead of retracing steps.
They withdraw from hobbies or social activities.
Activities they used to enjoy, such as cards, church, sports, reading groups, family visits, or hobbies, now receive little interest.
Their personality seems noticeably different.
A person who was calm, warm, careful, social, or trusting now seems unusually impulsive, suspicious, withdrawn, cold, or unlike themselves.
They have stronger emotional swings than before.
They cry, become anxious, angry, frightened, or emotionally overwhelmed without a clear trigger, or with much stronger reactions than expected.
